Saturday, October 25 the Chicago Bruise Brothers trekked to Michigan for a rematch of the men from Kalamazoo Men’s Roller Derby. The two teams first met in Chicagoland on September 13, and this weekend’s exchange marked the second win over KMRD and The Bros’ first road win of the 2014 season.
After breaking fast out of the blocks, the Bruise Brothers took a healthy 123-36 lead over the Michigan men, before finishing as winners with a 233-115 scoreline. Norway Jose won MVP jammer for The Bros, and The Mandozer took MVP blocker honors.
The Bros thank KMRD for having us up for a blast of a road trip to conclude our season.
